[questa resta effettivamente la mia ultima pipa e visto che ci tengo la ripropongo]

Con il mio ultimo acquisto posso spuntare in un colpo solo due caselle della mia "to do list" in campo pipario.

In primo luogo � la mia prima pipa fatta da Brian Rowley di Growley Pipes (www.growleypipes.com), un pipemaker americano che seguo ormai da un bel po' di tempo e di cui leggo un gran bene, inoltre � la mia prima Devil Anse, uno shape che mi affascina e che volevo avere in rastrelliera.

Per chi non lo sapesse, lo shape � ispirato alla pipa fumata da Kevin Costner nella miniserie (di History Channel) Hatfields & McCoys, che racconta la sanguinosa faida tra due clan familiari realmente accaduta in West Virginia e Kentucky alla fine dell'800 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatfield%E2%80%93McCoy_feud). Costner interpreta William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield, capofamiglia degli Hatfields, da cui il nome dello shape.

Cos� quando questa pipa � apparsa sul sito non ho proprio saputo resistere. Ha gi� qualche fornello alle spalle e fuma proprio bene!

CITAZIONE

This Devil�s Anse pipe was hand crafted from the finest Italian briar. The finish was left natural, and itt shows some terrific cross grain and bird�s eye.

The stem was hand cut from black German Root Beer Acrylic, and was fitted with a comfort fit button, which makes it comfortable and easy to hold in your mouth. As with all my pipes, I�ve opened this pipe up properly to give it the the right air flow to provide a cool dry smoke.
